YakData
Privacy policy

Collect only what is needed. Keep sensitive material out of public forms.

Effective August 27, 2026. This policy explains how Fast Data Secrets, LLC, operating the YakData service, handles information submitted through yakdata.com.

Do not submit confidential information

Public forms are for initial contact and fit assessment. Do not submit confidential company data, regulated data, trade secrets, credentials, private forecasts, board materials, customer-level records, employee records, or proprietary source code.

Information we may collect

  • Contact information such as name, company, role, and email address.
  • Inquiry information such as the operating problem, desired outcome, likely engagement path, desired timing, and message content.
  • Basic technical and usage information such as page visits, referring pages, browser type, device type, and security logs when analytics or hosting tools collect them.
  • Commercial records created after direct contact, such as proposals, contracts, invoices, access plans, and delivery communications.

Site measurement

YakData uses lightweight first-party site measurement to understand how people use its educational and review pages. Measurement can include page path, referring domain, campaign and source parameters, anonymous session and visitor identifiers, CTA intent, section views, scroll depth, and active-time milestones. First-party browser storage may preserve anonymous first-touch and last-touch attribution so a later inquiry can be connected to the page, episode, campaign, or review gate that led to it. The measurement layer does not send names, email addresses, company names, free-text inquiry content, or form message fields to site analytics.

When a public form is submitted, the form delivery may include non-sensitive attribution metadata such as campaign/source parameters, originating page, review gate, and anonymous session or visitor identifiers so YakData can connect the inquiry to its source. Analytics may record only non-identifying categorical fields such as selected review gate, buyer context, or desired timing. Name, email, company, role, and free-text descriptions are handled by the form-delivery service and are not copied into the analytics event stream.

How information is used

  • Respond to inquiries and administer FDE Production Reviews.
  • Process review enrollment, payment, and related communications.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • Meet legal, accounting, security, and contractual obligations.

Service providers and sharing

YakData uses third-party providers where needed to operate the site and its paid reviews. These currently include Google Analytics 4 for site measurement, Stripe for payment processing, and FormSubmit for public email-capture and question-form delivery. Those providers receive only the information reasonably required to perform their services. YakData does not sell inquiry information or client communications to advertisers.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, security, recordkeeping, or an active commercial relationship. YakData uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements. You may also ask to stop non-transactional communications.

The site may link to external websites, archives, platforms, and service providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

YakData provides professional education and production-review services intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
